Dr. Sanjay Murthy
MPHTM, DABAM, DABUCM, BC-ADM, CGCP, CWHS
Founder, WellHealth Medical Associates
Family medicine, addiction medicine, pain management, behavioral health, urgent care medicine, functional medicine, diabetes management, women's health, geriatric care
Dr. Sanjay Murthy founded WellHealth Medical Associates and splits his time between the Belleville and Rochester Hills offices, though patients across western Wayne County know him as the doctor who opened Main Street's newest full-service practice. He's spent his career focused on the parts of medicine that get rushed elsewhere — addiction, chronic pain, hormonal imbalance — and building enough time into each visit to actually work through them.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Michigan State University, studied medicine at KMC-Manipal in India, and holds a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from Tulane University. He trained in family medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, completed a second residency in occupational medicine at the University of Kentucky, and finished a fellowship in behavioral and addiction medicine at Brighton Hospital in Michigan.
He's a diplomate of the American Board of Urgent Care Medicine and the American Board of Addiction Medicine, board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management, and also serves as a Civil Surgeon for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, conducting the medical exams required for visa and adjustment-of-status applications.

Dr. Elliott Bettman
Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine
WellHealth Medical Belleville
Internal medicine, addiction medicine
Dr. Elliott Bettman sees patients at the Belleville office and brings almost three decades of internal medicine experience with him, including several years caring for uninsured and Medicaid patients at a state-run health center in Conway, South Carolina. He's fluent in medical Spanish and certified to prescribe opioid replacement therapies, including SUBOXONE®, which makes him a key part of Belleville's addiction medicine program.
He studied biology at Wayne State University before training in medicine at Universidad del Noreste, completed a Fifth Pathway program in Brooklyn, and finished his residency in Livingston, New Jersey. He's held his Diplomate certification in Internal Medicine since 1996.
Dr. Bettman returned to the Detroit area in 2014 and has been a fixture of the WellHealth team since — patients describe him as direct, unhurried, and genuinely interested in the whole picture, not just the chart in front of him.

Olivia Alnajjar, PA-C
PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Family medicine, addiction medicine
Olivia Alnajjar is a certified physician assistant seeing patients at the Belleville office, with a practice built around family medicine and addiction medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science at Oakland University, where she worked as a medical assistant at a primary care office — the job that first pulled her toward this field — and went on to complete a Master of Science in Medicine with a specialty in physician assistant studies at Western Michigan University.
Her training in addiction medicine focuses heavily on opioid and alcohol use disorder, and she's built a reputation among Belleville patients for treating that work with the same directness and lack of judgment she brings to a routine physical.

Kevin J. Majchszak
DNP, CNP
Nurse Practitioner
Primary care, family medicine
Kevin Majchszak is a doctor of nursing practice and nurse practitioner at the Belleville office, focused on primary and family care for patients of every age. He works closely with the rest of the WellHealth team to build treatment plans that hold up over years, not just a single visit — coordinating with Dr. Bettman, Olivia, and Dr. Murthy when a patient's care crosses into addiction medicine or a specialty concern.
Patients who see Kevin regularly point to the same thing: he remembers the context. A returning patient doesn't have to re-explain their history at every visit, because he's already read the chart before walking in.
Our Commitment
Committed to Your Health
Because our providers work as one team across both the Belleville and Rochester Hills offices, you're never limited to a single doctor for a single specialty. A patient managing a chronic condition alongside a mental health concern can be supported by more than one provider without re-explaining their history each time — that continuity is intentional, and it's a big part of why patients stay with us for years, not just one visit.
